i took some 100% pure hoodia pills for acouple of weeks and i didnt see any difference..?

Hoodia DOES work, I’ve used it, and, like any other drug or supplement, if you stop using it and resort to bad habits, you’ll put the weight back on.
You have to remember that it’s a diet suppressant, nothing more. That’s why you see some brands of diet concoctions mixed with Hoodia. Hoodia just keeps you from wanting to eat. It won’t help you lose weight all by itself. It will help you control you impulse urges.
You can try some for free for 7 days, some of the vendors that offer it for free are listed here off and on.

It’s just the latest fad.
Unfortunately what you are trying to achieve has been figured out years ago. Eat a balanced healthy diet, engage in workouts each day that have at least moderate intensity. Get plenty of rest each night.
That is the magic pill, too bad it doesn’t come in pill form.
no i tried them and they made me sick.
For months I’ve been searching and reading for information and reviews (from various companies, pill-review sites, so-called "consumer research" websites, testimonials and answers I have read from here) about diet pills especially about HOODIA. here’s some 411 about hoodia that could prove useful (i hope) to you:
* hoodia has an "ingredient" (known as P57) w/c is responsible for its appetite-suppressant effect. However it hasn’t earned the approval of the FDA yet. Pfizer even stopped their development of this ingredient due to difficulty of synthesizing it and negative effects seen on the liver.
* a lot of products claim they contain hoodia but most of them don’t actually contain the P57 (the active ingredient) or in inadequate amt. Plus AUTHENTIC hoodia gordonii doesn’t come cheap…so if a company is offering you a 5 or 7-day free supply/trial of it be careful.
* it’s an appetite-suppressant pill not melt-the-fats-away pill. Basically what it does is just to suppress your appetite w/c leads to losing weight (for some people) since you’re reducing your calorie-intake. It won’t tone your body or improve your skin.
Hoodia pills may or may not work. Some people claim it worked for them. Some people didn’t notice any difference. Results vary. You have to try it yourself to see if it’d work for you (ask your doctor about it first even though no side effects have been reported from those who were/are taking them).
Also, you might ask or wonder – what would happen if you decided to stop taking them coz obviously you don’t want to be taking them for the rest of your life aite? Of course you’ll gain back the weight you lost UNLESS you exercise and eat right. These pills are just "helpers" in losing weight or those stubbon extra pounds. It’s up to you really to obtain and maintain the weight you desired. Don’t rely on diet pills too much. Exercising and eating right is still the best thing to do. I know it’s hard (tell me about it…haha).
I’m in the medical field so I’m quite hesistant to try this stuff (I’m NOT saying I wouldn’t). So far the positive comments I’ve heard and read outshone the negative. Hopefully it’ll work for you.
