Hoodia is not an effective method for weight loss for most people:
Let me explain:
The only ways to lose weight through suppplements are as follows:
1. Suppress appetite enough so you dont eat…which almost never works.
2. Thermogenic effect, which increases the body’s temperature slightly, forcing you to burn more calories. These are usually barely effective.
3. Alter the body’s hormonal production through hypothalamus, thyroid, or sex hormones. These are usually illegal, though some supplements are not. These are dangerous if USED WRONG…not if correctly and sparingly. I would not use them at your level, and hence will not list any.
Hoodia does none of this, though it’s maker claims to do it all. Such a supplement costs 80+ per 3 weeks usually. I lose weight very easily on a good cardio/workout routine/diet, as does EVERYONE.
2nd part of your question: Yes, I have tried it, and written a review on bb.com…. it is very ineffective, and many of my fellow peers say the same. No extra weight was lost on my cutting diet, just the usual.
